Hi, I'm Scott Bowden, the lead designer at BYO Floor Plan.
With a background training and working alongside architects for the past 10 years, my experience has focused on designing custom homes, often waterfront or beachside, and multi-residential buildings up to 9 storeys. With a love for the building industry, I enjoy working with construction professionals, developers, tradies, and people who appreciate how starting with a carefully considered design can add tremendous value to a project or dream home.
Over the years, I have had extensive experience helping clients to enhance their floor plan ideas and then producing 3D facades in a style to their tastes, giving them a feeling of ownership and contribution to the finished design. Working closely with my clients to understand their requirements and create a tailored outcome they are excited about, and proud of, is what I find truly rewarding and why I started BYO Floor Plan. BYO floorplan operates under unique business hours, so feel free to call us before work, after kids are in bed, or even arrange an onsite meeting after Nippers or Soccer have wrapped up! Lack of communication when trying to get a project moving can seriously slow down your momentum, delaying how soon you move in to your completed home.
